Technical Lignosulphonates
The technical lignosulphonates liquid / powder (LST/LSTP) are sodium salts of lignosulphonic acids admixed with reducing and mineral substances, easily soluble in water to form neutral or weakly acidic solutions, they have a low viscosity and, when dried, exhibit adhesive properties.
As to the physical form, LSTP is a mealy free-flowing powder having color from light to dark brown, without gloss. The powder is very hygroscopic and for extended storage requires a closed dry room. LSTP is available in powder form, with capacity of 3 tons per hour, in accordance with the requirements of STO 2455-027-43508418-2009.
The packing of product is in bags “big-bag” (±620 kg).
LST is a homogeneous thick liquid of dark brown color. It meets the requirements of TU 13-0281036-029-94
Sphere of Application:
In the chemical industry, lignosulphonates are used as a stabilizer, a dispersant, and a binder in the manufacture of briquetted plant protection products.
In the oil industry, lignosulphonates are used as reagent for regulation of drilling fluids parameters.
In the foundry engineering, lignosulphonates are used as a binding material for forming molds for casting, and an additive for non-stick paints.
In the cement industry and the manufacture of refractory materials, lignosulphonates are used as a cement plasticizing agent and a binding material.
