FSC International Certificate

The problem of the forest industry is becoming more acute, at the present time the volume of illegal logging is more than 20 % of all logging in Russia. Syassky Pulp and Paper Mill is committed to environmental conservation and rational use of natural resources, therefore, we use the certified raw materials from reliable suppliers for processing.

SPPM has the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) supply chains certificate that confirms that:

  • raw materials used in the manufacture of the product are legal;
  • during logging, we applied the methods of sustainable forest management, the rights of the workers, local residents and indigenous people were respected.

5S System

5S is a system of organization and rationalization of the workplace. The basis of the high production figures are the orderliness at the workplace, the high level of efficiency of equipment use, the discipline in the shops.

The 5S system introduction at Syassky PPM JSC began in October 2014. Despite the cautious attitude of the workers to the change of their usual form of work at the initial stage, today almost every worker is committed to self-improvement as part of the implementation of this project and is interested in fulfillment of all the tasks set before him/her.

5S System
